Tomorrow, I will be presenting my research during my ISM class. I will discuss topics that I studied as part of secondary research, including the articles that I read as part of my assessments. I am excited to show my peers what I have learned so far this year, and I hope I don’t get too nervous while speaking. For my first speech, I got a little nervous and didn’t include everything I wanted to say, so I am hoping to avoid a similar situation this time around. The interview that I had with the biostatistics professor has been rescheduled for this Thursday, so I am also looking forward to that. I recently got help from a friend on how to get started with my Original Work project. I am starting to learn more about how to create neural networks, and with the guidance that I received, I already have a much better understanding of it. I also contacted people who work in the field of bioinformatics, so I am hoping to hear back from them if possible. I will work on reaching out to more people to secure research interviews, and I will try to work more on my Original Work project this week. I will provide an update on my research presentation next week.
