I got sick over the weekend and wasn’t able to work on anything for school. Today, I am finally feeling a little better and decided to begin working on some assignments. I am worried that I will be behind and find it difficult to catch up because I have missed school. I hope to catch up at a steady pace while still recovering well. This week in ISM, I was supposed to present my Original Work speech. It got moved, but I will continue working on it so I can be ready by the time I come back. We are also turning in our display board plans, as well as finalizing our research showcase invites. I made a lot of edits to my invitation, because I wanted to change the overall theme of it. I believe I forgot to provide an update on the research showcase. Last week, we learned that the showcase had been moved to late February. We are all so thankful that we even get to have a showcase this year, given the circumstances. Two high schools will be combined per day to allow for enough time and space for everyone. Frisco High School and Liberty will have presentations on February 23rd. I need to buy materials and start working on my board, but I don’t think it should be too difficult to put together. If we have to say a speech, that is what I would really like to start preparing for. Other than that, we also have an assessment due this week. I’ll update how everything goes next week!
